Dr.
Todd C. Lee, MD, MPH, FACP, FIDSA
is a Member of Steering Committee at WikiGuidelines.org. Dr. Lee is certified in Infectious Diseases and General Internal Medicine in the province of Quebec, Canada and is an attending physician at the McGill University Health Centre in the Department of Medicine. He is a clinician-investigator supported by the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé (Junior 2) whose research focusses on redefining the standard of care in Infectious Diseases through randomized controlled trials and thoughtful observational work.
Dr. Lee received his medical degree from the University of Toronto, continuing there for a three year core residency in Internal Medicine, a dedicated year as the Chief Medical Resident, and a fellowship in Infectious Diseases. Afterwards he completed his Masters of Public Health at Harvard and began on faculty at McGill University.
Dr. Lee was the 2015 recipient of the Canadian Society of Internal Medicine's New Investigator Award and was the winner of the CFID John M. Embil Mentorship Award in Infectious Diseases. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the Infectious Diseases Society of America.

Rachel Baden, MD
Dr.
Rachel Baden, MD
is a Member of Steering Committee at WikiGuidelines.org. Dr. Baden serves as the Chief of Medicine at Los Angeles General Medical Center. Her academic interests are focused on the treatment of hepatitis C in the outpatient setting, with a method to facilitate equitable access of care for eligible patients to receive such treatment.
Additionally, she works closely with infectious disease trainees to teach about hepatitis C evaluation, management, and care with a goal to conduct qualitative research to describe trainee satisfaction with hepatitis C treatment during fellowship, in comparison with national training programs. She is also involved in antimicrobial stewardship research where she describes how antimicrobial stewardship, with a focus on “shorter is better” courses, is effectively implemented at Los Angeles General Medical Center.

His wide-ranging research interests encompass several interconnected areas, including innovative diagnostic approaches for identifying infections, studying genetic aspects of both hosts and pathogens, utilizing genetic epidemiology to address therapeutic queries, conducting trials focused on acute infections, scrutinizing antimicrobial resistance mechanisms, investigating severe infection development, and exploring the role of iron metabolism in infections.
His primary research focus lies within infection-related studies, particularly emphasizing outcomes arising from severe infections, distinguishing various infection phenotypes, and implementing advanced molecular techniques for precise diagnostic methods. He is currently serving as an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow at North Bristol NHS Trust, Dr. Fergus actively delves into investigating severe infection outcomes, categorizing infection phenotypes, and employing cutting-edge molecular methodologies for accurate diagnoses. Additionally, he commenced a WellCome GW4 PhD in 2020, dedicated to unraveling host genomic and transcriptomic responses in infections, signifying a focused commitment to advancing the understanding of infection-related mechanisms.
Beyond his primary research domains, Dr. Fergus maintains a fervent interest in extracting causal inference from observational data, further enriching the depth and breadth of his academic pursuits.

Dr. Farooq is a Board-certified Internist with training across a few diverse U.S healthcare systems. He is also a Clinical Research Certified Professional and has publications along his name early inthe career. He has recently graduated form an Infectious Disease Fellowship. In his fellowship, he managed a diverse patient load across three hospitals fostering robust learning and professional advancement. His Infectious Disease expertise spans care for immunocompromised patients, advanced HIV cases, and the management of drug-resistant organisms.
Dr. Farooq's leadership extends beyond clinical responsibilities. During residency, he held prominent roles, notably as the President of the House Staff Council and Vice Chair of the Resident and Fellow council, representing over eight hundred trainee. The establishment of an official council marked a historic milestone in the University's 200-year legacy. Presently, Dr. Farooq serves as the Chair of the IMG Workgroup at the New York ACP Chapter and an Ambassador for American Medical Association (AMA). He also holds appointments at other professional societies.
Dr. Farooq boasts a diverse skill set encompassing web design, graphic design, professional photography, and IT system security. His proficiency extends to managing enterprise-grade software, SaaS, and mobile app production. Additionally, he possesses extensive experience in digital marketing and collaborates with renowned firms.
Dr. Farooq looks forward to leveraging his clinical and non-clinical professional skills within the WikiGuidelines, aiming to consistently elevate and improve organizational standards. is a the chair of Update Committee at WikiGuidelines.org. Dr. Ghanem is a board-certified Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacist working at King Abdulaziz Medical City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. His primary responsibility involves delivering comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients in surgical units, particularly those with complex surgical site infections. Additionally, he demonstrates a keen interest in Antimicrobial Stewardship and actively participates in hospital-wide initiatives aimed at promoting responsible antimicrobial use.
In his current role, he helps WikiGuideline centralize new literatures that maybe used for updating each WikiGuideline.
